Tänavusel loodusfotovõistlusel Vereta Jaht pildile püütud lindudest ja loomadest valisid korraldajad näitusele 55 fotot, mis on kõigile fotohuvilistele näha RMK uues kontoris Tallinnas Toompuiestee 24. Viiendat korda valis žürii võitjaks Ingmar Muusikuse, kes püüdis kaadrisse noorte põtrade esmakohtumise.
Juba 16. korda toimunud Vereta Jaht peeti tänavu kevadel Läänemaal – Silma looduskaitsealal, Martnas, Piirsalus ja Linnamäel. Jahi käigus tehtud ja näitusele valitud loodusfotod on varustatud ka autori kirjeldusega selle sünniloost.
Vereta jahi peakorraldaja Tiit Hundi sõnul on Vereta Jahi fotonäituse juhtmõte näidata piirkonna looduse iseärasusi ja sealset liigirikkust. “Kuigi tänavust Vereta Jahi vapilooma kährikut ei õnnestunud ühelgi fotograafil pildile jäädvustada, on sel aastal näitusel mitmeid erakordseid fotosid ning kaamerasilma ette jäänud suur hulk linde annavad väga hea ülevaate piirkonna iseloomulikust looduslikust mitmekesisusest,” selgitas Hunt.
Kokku oli tänavusel pildijahil 35 osalejat, kellest paljud on tuntud ja hinnatud fotograafid.

Vereta Jaht on loodusfotovõistlus Eestimaa loodusmaastikel, mis toimus tänavu 16. korda. See on küttimisretk, kus relvadeks on fotokaamerad, laskemoonaks mälukaardid ning jahisaagiks hulgaliselt looma- ja looduspilte.
