Haapsalu linnavalitsus avas suure trummi nime all tuntud silla juures aedikuga ja valgustatud jalutusväljaku, kus koeraomanikud saavad oma lemmikutel vabalt joosta lasta.
Linna poolt tulles asub 50×17 meetrine jalutusväljak suure trummi all paremal, rääkis linnavalitsuse avalike suhete juht Tõnu Parbus.
Linnapea Urmas Suklese sõnul olid nemad ainult teostajaks, idee käis välja ja sobiva koha otsis koerakasvatajast linnakodanik.
„Suur probleem oli — koerad kortermajades, kellel pole jooksukohta, aga metsa lahti lasta ei taha,” rääkis Sukles.
